My Journey — And Why I Understand Yours

BEFORE

Health and fitness have interested me since I was young. I was used to being active and feeling strong in my body. But after having my second child in 2020 by C-section, I found myself at the heaviest I had ever been—and for the first time, I didn’t quite recognize the woman looking back at me.

It wasn’t only about the weight. My body felt different. My core didn’t function or feel as strong as it once had, and I didn’t know how to rebuild it. Eventually, I put my pride aside and hired coaches to help me get back in shape. I lost weight and saw physical results, but I also realized

AFTER

something was missing. I needed someone who understood what my body had been through and who could see me as a whole woman—not simply a body that needed to lose weight.

The restrictive diets and strenuous workouts worked for a while, but when life got hard, I couldn’t sustain them. Eventually, I regained the weight I had worked so hard to lose. That experience taught me something that completely changed the way I viewed health: a program can get you results, but if it doesn’t work with your real life, those results can be incredibly difficult to maintain.

That realization led me back to a dream I had started pursuing years earlier. I completed my certification and continued my education, becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. I knew exactly what kind of coach I wanted to become—the kind of coach I wish I had during my own journey.

And that is why I created Constructive Wellness.

I know there are women who look in the mirror and wonder, “How did I get here?” Women whose bodies have changed after pregnancy, motherhood, stress, loss, career demands, or simply life. Women who have tried diets and workout programs, gotten results, fallen off, started over—and are exhausted by feeling like they have failed.

You don’t need another program that expects your life to revolve around fitness. You need an approach to wellness that can fit into the life you’re actually living.

For me, wellness is bigger than workouts and nutrition. It’s about building strength, confidence, healthy habits, and a better relationship with your body. It’s about understanding that every woman is different and creating an approach that considers your body, your goals, your circumstances, and the season of life you’re in.

My goal isn’t simply to help you change how your body looks. I want to help you build something you can actually sustain—so you can feel strong, capable, confident, and at home in your body again.

Where the mind goes, the body follows.

The Journeys of others just like you...
